Play audio introduction for this task
So, you may be wondering what an image generator is. Sounds like something you would take camping just so you can watch a movie in the middle of the bush. I'm not talking about those gas powered back-up things. The generators I'm talking about allow you to easily manipulate image and graphics to create fun images like these:
Your task
For this exercise, I just want you to have fun.
Have a play around with a few of the sites below or type the words 'image generator' into Google, and you may find some great sites yourself. Have a play around with some and write a post in your blog about one of your favorites and display the result.
Often adding the image you mocked up to your blog is as simple as copying and pasting code that the page provides. If not, you may need to right click on the image and then save it to your hard drive before using your blog's 'add image' button to add it to a blog post.
If you're having difficulty getting your image added to a post in your blog, ask a co-worker for help.

Adding an image to your blog can be challenging.
Some of the image generators include an option for posting the image to a blog automatically. If that doesn't work, or you have no such luck, here's a guide.
First, save the image to your computer.
Once you've created the image, that means you click it with the right mouse button and select "Save Picture As..." or similar. Put it somewhere temporary. Saving to your desktop will do fine, and you can delete it later.
If you are using the Simpsonizer, you need to find an option called "Export" to save the image to your computer instead.
Second, add the image to your blog.
Log into your blog account and go to "New Post". The next bit is different according to what blogging software you use.
Now, if you're using Blogger, there is a tiny icon that looks like a picture of a landscape. Clicking that will allow you to add an image from your computer (look for a button called "Browse...").
If you're using Wordpress, don't use the little icon on the toolbar. Scroll down to a section called "Upload" which is below the text box. Use the "Browse..." button to find the image on your computer open it then click "Upload". Once uploaded you can add it to your post with a "Send to editor" button under "Browse". Unfortunately I think this is a little more confusing that Blogger.
